dreams are shaped by the perspectives we hold. they are able to exist in contradictory forms across different minds. *everyone has a different set of beliefs* we have learned to be respectful of (most)differences in beliefs that exist to understand how we can better coexist and continue to learn. dreams are a lot like quantum particles. they’re difficult to measure, exist in multiple forms, and we tend to pay most of our attention to their results.

i can’t say that i was less worried about leaving school than i was about what would come having served my remaining time in college. while there, i was fortunate to begin developing a sharper image of the life i had been creating for myself. much of my passion had been driven toward the direction i was pointed in by the perspectives i was given. i had learned to live the dreams i understood as possibilities based on what i knew. the new experience reshaped my perspectives and expanded upon the life i understood. it began to feel as if the life i was living was a lie to the person i understood myself to be. i decided to challenge this 2 weeks into the first semester of my senior year. i left to amsterdam for a month to visit hannah and discuss pursuing new understandings. upon close examination of the dreams above me (it rained most of the days we were there), we were able to see the seemingly infinite number of possibilities dripping around us. we spent day after day calculating and planning, creating and exploring, all the while the rain kept pouring. we decided we would begin collecting the waters for the seedling dreams we had been carrying along in our backpacks.
