october sketchbook

this past month, my sketchbook/journal largely reflected changes i was going through in my work/academic life. i watched as the future i once saw for myself, a career rooted in the assumption of higher education, evolved into the dream i'm living today. some pages were inspired by astrology (creativity flowed with the full moon in aries), feminism (as always), and the business/logo ideas that engendered this blog! i played a lot more with pen drawing and abstract patterns, while still incorporating elements of collage that i've always loved working with.

this month's inspiration: the matrix, pangea, black ink, witchcraft, geometric patterns, #metoo, etc etc etc
